healthcare
ACFA provides preventative and curative medical treatments to the children in our care. We also aim to build a community healthcare clinic at the zorokoro children’s complex.
As an NGO committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children, we understand the critical role that healthcare plays in ensuring a child's well-being and future success. Through our programs, we provide a range of medical services, including routine check-ups, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and vaccinations against common diseases.
We believe that every child deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their background or circumstances.
our services
required vaccinations
Only 45% of children in Mali receive the required vaccinations due to a lack of access, making them vulnerable to prevalent diseases such as malaria.
Our staff in Mali ensures that our children have received all of their required vaccinations.
mental wellness
Due to the struggle that our children faced prior to joining the ACFA family, we make sure they are provided the necessary emotional and behavioral support.
We work with mental health experts and nonprofits such as IntraHealth International and SAMU Social to provide mental and psychological wellness for our children.
medical care + supplies
ACFA’s healthcare goes beyond just medical treatments. We supply disease-fighting essentials to our children, provide clean water, and teach the children healthy habits such as washing their hands and healthy eating habits.
the importance of healthcare for children in mali
In Mali, many children lack access to basic medical care and vaccines, leaving them vulnerable to illnesses and diseases that can have lifelong consequences. By providing medical care and vaccination to vulnerable children in Mali, we can help prevent illness and ensure that ACFA’s children can grow up healthy and strong.
