Summer Coding Classes with our Older Children in Bamako
This summer the older children in Bamako started to learn computer coding. Several California high school-students, including Johnathan and Grant, founded a non-profit called Equal Access Robotics and are volunteering their time to teach the ACFA children all about coding every Sunday via Zoom.
Education is one of the most fundamental tools. We are so thankful to have volunteers from around the world offering to share diverse lessons and skills with our children. We also want to say a special thanks to another high school student who lives in France, Paul, for both translating the weekly PowerPoint into French and for being available as the interpreter for the classes. We are so lucky to have these wonderful high school volunteers devoting time to our teenagers in Mali.
